BGP tunnel sessions in Germany (DE) are fully automated. Once your endpoint IP is provided and your ROA/IRR records are validated, you can establish the session using your preferred router or daemon (BIRD 2, FRR, VyOS, RouterOS).

No, downstream announcements are not supported on BGP tunnels. Tunnels are strictly designed for single-ASN announcements representing your own infrastructure and assigned prefixes.

If you need downstream support or wish to provide transit, please check our BGP VPS plans (downstream announcements are available on the Ultimate plan).

Direct IXP peering is not available on BGP tunnels. Access to our supported Internet Exchanges (such as LocIX DUS, LocIX NL, LocIX FRA, or BGP.Exchange) requires a BGP VPS offer starting from the Basic plan.
